Dear Alpár!

OK, I'll try to reach the guy, I will have to deal with this GLPK soon,
anyway.

We use GLPK in LEMON as the default LP solver. It fits our needs quite
well, but it has some minor shortcoming and bugs that makes it harder to
use it.
Therefore we should try to get in touch with the author of GLPK and get
him to put these modifications into the next release. Of course we
should also offer our help to him.

I'm looking for a volunteer who would take over this job.

Here is a possibly incomplete list of required changes (not in order of
importance):

      * ňˆ˘ŕˇmake it possible to change or retrieve a single element of the
constraint matrix (currently only a full row or column can be
        changed or retrieved).
      * use pkg-config.
      * fix the bug related to the col/row names (see
        https://lemon.cs.elte.hu/site/products/lemon/bugs/17/pcng_issue_view .)
      * add spec-files for rpm, deb, autopackage.
      * as I remember GLPK crashes if one tries to explicitely set an
element of the constraint matrix to zero. (One should check if
        this problem still exists.)

Best regards,
Alpar
