Dear Xpress-MP User
Can I draw your attention to a couple of things you might find
interesting: a course on Advanced Mosel, and Xpress Parallel-MIP results
on multi-core computers coupled with a special limited-time offer.
Mosel Course
If you are thinking of going to EUROXXII in Prague then be sure to go to
the Mosel workshop.
See
http://www.dashoptimization.com/home/services/news/news_wsprague.html
for details.
Parallel MIP on multi-core computers
If you would like to halve MIP solution times or better, you may well
have the answer already sitting on your desk. Multi-core computers are
now commonplace but legacy software probably uses only one of the
available cores, wasting valuable computing resources. Xpress
Parallel-MIP can spread the optimization workload across multiple CPU
cores leading to dramatic reductions in solve time for many models.
Solution time reductions tend to be problem-type dependent, so do
evaluate Parallel-MIP yourself or get Dash to do it for you.
See
http://www.dashoptimization.com/home/services/news/news_parallel.html
for details.
A Special Offer on Parallel-MIP
If you are an existing Xpress-MP user on ASSC, for orders placed before
30th June 2007 Dash is offering a 50% discount on the Parallel Xpress-MP
add-on prices (page 3 of the price lists at
www.dashoptimization.com/home/secure/ordering/price_list.php) Contact
your nearest sales office to take up the offer:

Best wishes
Bob
