Hi,
I would kindly ask you that if a changeset belongs to a ticket, then
please put a reference to it in the commit log at the end of the first
line, like this: (#123).
This cross reference makes my life much easier.
If you create a ticket for an existing changeset, then I suggest to
create a ticket fist, edit the commit log, then upload the patch. If you
allow the mq mercurial extension, then you can easily edit the commit
logs of the last commit with the following command.
hg qimp -r .; hg qref -e; hg qfin -a
This will pop-up your favorite editor (which is probably vi) with the
old commit log, which you can edit and save. You may have to use 'hg
qrem -r qtip' instead of 'hg qfin -a' with some older mercurial
versions.
Best regards,
Alpar
