Dear All,
First of all, I would like to thank all of you for the great effort to
release the first stable version of LEMON.
Now - as LEMON 1.0 is done - it's time to look forward, set up some
priorities and perhaps a schedule of the next release. The things I find
particularly important are the followings.
* We must make a decision about the cheap copying principle (see
ticket #146), as it has a strong effect on a lot of other stuff
in the library.
* The LP interface should undergo a major refactoring (ticket
#44). This process usually takes longer, so we should start
working on it as soon as we can.
* There is a need for porting at least the most basic graph
adaptors (ticket #67). I guess this is a quite straightforward
task, we even have a preliminary porting changeset attached to
the ticket.
In parallel with these, we must continue porting the missing tools from
the SVN repository. We already have a number of changeset proposals in
the issue tracker system waiting for review and perhaps some cleanups.
These tickets are: #48, #57, #102, #123.
It is somewhat independent, but equally important to make a significant
improvement in the tutorial as soon as we can. Instead of using the
ticketing system I suggest either sending tutorial related changesets
directly to me or just creating your own public tutorial repo and push
your changes there. Then I'll synchronize your repo with the main one.
Best regards,
Alpar
