[Lemon-devel] Towards LEMON 1.0

Dear All,

For the sake of those how might not follow our bug tracking system on a
daily basis, let me report shortly on the development status of LEMON
release 1.0.

Up to now we closed 73 tickets related to the release. Half of them are
bug reports and there are 15 enhancement proposals. The remaining
tickets are mainly related to porting specific parts of LEMON 0.x
series.

We still have 7 open tickets with only two of them (#96 and #134) being
nontrivial to solve. (The others are mainly related to the final
polishing of the repository before the release).

Therefore I can say, the vast majority of the planned work has already
been done. I assume to conclude with the two remaining nontrivial
question very soon, hopefully on this week, then we are ready to create
a branch for the release.
