Dear all,

I just want to thank all the contributors for the hard work that
eventually led to release 1.1 of LEMON.

I think we can indeed be proud of this release.

It has a more than two times bigger codebase compared with version
1.0.4, the statistics currently show ~43200 SLOC in total, of which
~35000 are the lib itself, ~1700 are the additional tools/demos, and the
remaining ~6500 are the test codes.

It would be too long to list all the new features here, but I can't help
mentioning here two very important components.

The first one is the thoroughly reworked MIP/LP interface. It is
needless to say how important this building block is. Now it has a very
clear API and we support a good variety of MIP/LP solvers.

The other one is the network flow related algorithms, especially the
Network Simplex implementation. Not only are our implementations
probably the fastest on the market, but also their flexible API (and the
flow model we use) allow the most flexible problem formalization for the
users.

Well done and thank you again!

Best regards,
Alpar
