Dear Lemon,
My name is Brian Aller, an undergraduate student at University of
California, Los Angeles. First of all, thanks for this great and free
resource! I need to use your library for some research with my
professor, but I'm having trouble installing it. I'm trying to
install it on windows, and I tried to follow the installation
instructions, but they weren't working. I wasn't sure where I was
supposed to build the binaries, because I didn't know where exactly I
was supposed to put the build folder (root of source code repository?
dunno where that is). And I wasn't sure where I was supposed to
choose as my "source code". I know that share/cmake-2.6/Templates has
the file they want, but it didn't work (unless the problem is
elsewhere).
One time, I got it to work to a certain point, and I had my files in a
visual studio folder, and there was one file called "Project" which is
presumably my .sln file that was supposed to be created after
configuration and generation. But there was no "LEMON.sln" file as I
expected. And there was an ALL_BUILD and INSTALL I could select in my
visual studio, but no RUN_TESTS or HTML.
I'm using visual studio 2008 on windows vista, and I'm trying to use
lemon-1.2.1 for the minimum cut algorithm for use in a visual studio
c++ project.
I could probably use some step by step instructions at a finer level
of detail and without any presumptions of knowledge, since I'm easily
confused by internal things like this.
Dunno if you can help me, but thanks so much for reading either way!
