hg tip [-p] [-g]

show the tip revision

    The tip revision (usually just called the tip) is the changeset most
    recently added to the repository (and therefore the most recently changed
    head).

    If you have just made a commit, that commit will be the tip. If you have
    just pulled changes from another repository, the tip of that repository
    becomes the current tip. The "tip" tag is special and cannot be renamed or
    assigned to a different changeset.

    Returns 0 on success.

options:

 -p --patch             show patch
 -g --git               use git extended diff format
    --style STYLE       display using template map file
    --template TEMPLATE display with template

global options:

 -R --repository REPO   repository root directory or name of overlay bundle
                        file
    --cwd DIR           change working directory
 -y --noninteractive    do not prompt, automatically pick the first choice for
                        all prompts
 -q --quiet             suppress output
 -v --verbose           enable additional output
    --config CONFIG [+] set/override config option (use 'section.name=value')
    --debug             enable debugging output
    --debugger          start debugger
    --encoding ENCODE   set the charset encoding (default: ascii)
    --encodingmode MODE set the charset encoding mode (default: strict)

    --time              time how long the command takes

    --version           output version information and exit
 -h --help              display help and exit
